Abstract
Bayesove mreže važno su područje istraživanja te se koriste za različite primjene u mnogim područjima umjetne inteligencije. U ovom radu opisuje se struktura Bayesovih mreža te se radi kratak pregled vjerojatnosti i statistike zajedno s Bayesovim teoremom. Nadalje uvodimo problem prepoznavanja i praćenja objekata te dajemo pregled Bayesovih filtera. U praktičnom dijelu rada napravljena je primjena algoritma u prepoznavanju i praćenju lica primjenom Viola-Jones algoritma te Kalmanovog filtera.
Abstract (english)
Bayesian Networks are an important area of research and are used for various applications within the domain of Artificial Intelligence. This paper describes the structure of Bayesian networks and provides a short overview of probability and statistics together with the Bayesian theorem. Furthermore, we introduce the problem of detection and tracking objects and give an overview of Bayesian filters. In the last chapter we present case studies that use an algorithm for recognizing and tracking faces. The algorithm was made using the Viola-Jones algorithm and Kalman’s filter.
