Abstract
Ovaj se rad bavi vojno-geografskom analizom operacije ''Oluja'', odnosno njezinog dijela – zbornog područja Gospić. Istraživanjem je obuhvaćeno Ličko bojište odnosno područje Ličko-senjske županije, južni dio Karlovačke županije i sjeverni dio Zadarske županije. Analiza je provedena u GIS-u primjenom OCOKA (promatranje i područja paljbe, zaklanjanje i prikrivanje, prepreke, ključni teren, avenije prilaza) metode te je podijeljena na analizu zaštitnog potencijala reljefa i analizu prohodnosti terena. Parametri korišteni u analizi zaštitnog potencijala reljefa su vidljivost, zakrivljenost i ekspozicija padine, gustoća ponikava te način korištenja zemljišta. U analizi prohodnosti korišteni su parametri nagib, vegetacija, gustoća ponikava i prometne mreže. Rezultat je klasificiran i preklopljen s pravcima kretanja hrvatske vojske.
Abstract (english)
This paper deals with the military-geographical analysis of Operation Storm, or part of it - the Gospić assembly area. The study covered the Lika battlefield, that is, the area of Lika-Senj County, the southern part of Karlovac County and the northern part of Zadar County. The analysis was performed at GIS using OCOKA (observation and fields of fire, cover and concealment, obstacles, key terrain, avenues of approach) approach and was divided into relief protective potential analysis and terrain patency analysis. The parameters used in the analysis of the protective potential of the relief are the visibility, curvature and exposure of the slope, the density of sinkholes, and the way the land is used. The slope, vegetation, sinkhole density and traffic networks were used in the analysis of passage. The result is classified and overlapped with the direction of movement of the Croatian army.
