Abstract
Unutar supramolekulske kemije, značajno područje istraživanja predstavljaju kompleksi receptora s gostima. Ako je gost anion, u kompleksima dominiraju nekovalentne interakcije čija jačina ovisi o mnogo čimbenika, a jedan od njih je i fleksibilnost molekule receptora. Za razliku od rigidnih, fleksibilni receptori omogućuju vezanje više vrsta aniona. To rezultira smanjenom, no još uvijek izraženom selektivnošću, ali i otvara vrata novim mogućnostima. Cilj ovog istraživanja je sintetizirati i strukturno karakterizirati nove poliaminske receptore te ispitati ulogu strukturne razmaknice u prepoznavanju i selektivnom vezanju anorganskih aniona (poput nitratnog, NO3−). Također, istražena je mogućnost izdvajanja pojedinih aniona iz smjesa konkurentnih aniona u vodenim otopinama. U drugom dijelu istraživanja ispitane su interakcije receptora i karboksilnih dikiselina (malonska, maleinska, fumarna, sukcinska). Kako su ispitivane kiseline česti koformeri aktivnih farmaceutskih pripravaka te stoga i poželjni kandidati za uklanjanje iz krutih smjesa, ispitana je mogućnost uklanjanja pojedinačne kiseline iz njezinih binarnih (krutih) smjesa.
Abstract (english)
Research of host-guest complexes is taking a significant role in modern supramolecular chemistry. Synthetic anion receptors can differ in the rigidity of their molecular structure that can reflect on the peak-selectivity level of binding the target species. While they usually show poorer selectivity compared to their rigid counterparts, flexible receptors can adopt their conformation in order to respond to the anion demands and achieve chemical complementarity. As a part of this research, we have studied the binding modes of newly synthesized flexible receptors in complexes with common inorganic and organic anions. Additionally, we have been examining the possibilities of nitrate anions separation from competitive anions in water solutions environment. In second part of the research, we have studied interactions and binding preferences between receptor molecules and various carboxylic acids (malonic, maleic, fumaric and succinic) in alcoholic solutions and in solid state.
