Abstract
Koprofilni kornjaši su načinom života vezani uz životinjski izmet. Neki su u potpunosti u svim stadijima života vezani uz izmet, dok se neke vrste kao odrasle mogu hraniti i nečim drugim. Balega, uz koprofagne kornjaše, privlači i nekrofilne, koji tamo pronalaze plijen. U ovome radu su objavljene vrste pronađene tijekom istraživanja na području PP Učka i NP Krka te je kroz nađene vrste sagledano da li postoji razlika u odnosu na način gospodarenja travnjacima (košanice i pašnjaci s različitim intenzitetom ispaše). Ukupno je zabilježeno 40 vrsta kornjaša, od čega 20 iz porodice Scarabaeidae, 9 iz porodice Histeridae, 7 pripadnika porodice Aphodiidae i 4 pripadnika porodice Silphidae. Obradom podataka i analizom dostupne literature dobio se uvid u ekologiju, rasprostranjenost i razliku među pojedinim plohama zavisno o načinu gospodarenja. Najviše vrsta ima palearktičku rasprostranjenost. Ovisno o načinu gospodarenja, pašnjaci imaju veću raznolikost vrsta od košanica.
Abstract (english)
Dung beetles are bound to dung because of their lifestyle, some in all their life stages, while others can feed on something else as adults. Carrion beetles are also attracted to dung where they can find their prey. In this research the species found during research in Učka Nature Park and Krka National Park are listed and an analyses based on the differences in grassland management (meadows vs. pastures and the grazing intensity) was performed. In total, 40 species of beetles were recorded for both localities, of which 20 Scarabaeidae, 9 Histeridae, 7 Aphodiidae and 4 belonging to Silphidae. Based on our field data and available literature data we summarised ecology, distribution and differences in species composition between surveyed localities based on present management (mowing vs. grazing). Most of the species have a Palearctic-wide distribution. Based on management preferences, pastures have a greater species richness
