Electricity is part of the compulsory content of physics curriculum taught in many schools in Croatia. A lot of experiments regarding electricity are available for classroom demonstrations but many technical and financial constraints are preventing the usage of coulombmeter. Coulombmeter is an instrument that can quantitatively measure the amount of electric charge on a body. With introduction of coulombmeter as a standard piece of classroom equipment it becomes possible to demonstrate some of the rarely shown experiments. Also, by using coulombmeter it becomes much easier and more practical to demonstrate some of the classical experiments. The goal of this thesis is to construct and assemble a digital coulombmeter that is capable of measuring charge, capacitor voltage, number of individual charges and the energy stored in a capacitor. All the required parts and components are readily available in electronic components stores. This thesis is meant to be used as a guide for construction of the instrument. This thesis also contains a set of experiments that will demonstrate electric charge induction, photoelectric effect and thermionic emission, conductor surface charge distribution and practical application of Faradays cage. All mentioned experiments are designed to be performed using a digital coulombmeter.
