Abstract
Nanočestice srebra postaju sve zastupljenije u proizvodima široke potrošnje zbog svojih izraženih antibakterijskih i antifunglanih svojstava. Njihovom velikom rasprostranjenošću dolazi do zagađenja tla i vodenih resursa čime biljke indirektno dolaze u kontakt s nanočesticama srebra. Razvojem proteomike unaprjeđuju se spoznaje o biološkim makromolekulama te ona postaje obećavajuća disciplina u istraživanju promjena na proteinima. Do sada su tehnike provedene samo u nekoliko istraživanja na biljkama duhana, pšenice, riže, soje i dr. Navedene biljke su pokazale sličnosti u odgovoru na stres uzrokovan nanočesticama srebra gdje one utječu na ekspresiju proteina vezanih uz primarni metabolizam, signalizaciju i odgovor na stres, no odgovor uvelike ovisi o vrsti biljke i karakteristikama nanočestica.
Abstract (english)
Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) are becoming more and more represented in consumer products because of their expressed antifungal and antibacterial properties. Their high prevalence leads to soil and water pollution, which allows plants to come into indirect contact with silver nanoparticles. With the development of proteomics, knowledge about biological macromolecules is improving and is it becoming a promising discipline in the study of protein changes. So far, the techniques have been conducted in only a few studies, on tobacco, wheat, rice, soybean plants etc. These plants have show similarities in response to stress caused by silver nanoparticles where they affect the expression of proteins related to primary metabolism, signaling and stress response. However, the response largely depends on the plant species and the characteristics of the nanoparticles.
