Abstract
Kroz rad je razmotreno sedam konfiguracija samostalnog energetskog sustava za kompleks zgrada u mjestu Phaltan u Indiji. Prema dobivenim podacima o brzini vjetra i sunčevom zračenju te zadanom opterećenju cilj je bio odrediti optimalnu konfiguraciju koja će u potpunosti zadovoljiti potražnju za električnom energijom, uz što manju cijenu i emisiju ugljičnog dioksida. Dvije konfiguracije koriste samo diesel generatore kao konvencionalni izvor energije. U njima je emisija ugljičnog dioksida bila najveća. U trećoj konfiguraciji ispitana je isplativost korištenja vjetroturbina. Rezultat nije povoljan zbog premalih brzina vjetra na toj lokaciji. Potom se u tri slučaja simulirala kombinacija fotonaponskih panela sa diesel generatorima u različitim veličinama. Najbolje rezultate pokazao je sustav sastavljen od fotonaponskih panela i diesel generatora čiji je kapacitet manji od vršnog opterećenja. U posljednjoj konfiguraciji u energetski sustav ukomponirani su i gorivni članci, čijim bi se korištenjem ostvarile najmanje emisije ugljičnog dioksida ali bi se povećala cijena sustava.,
Abstract (english)
In this paper, seven configurations of a stand-alone energy system for a building complex in Phaltan, India were considered. According to the obtained wind speed and solar radiation data and the given load, the goal was to determine the optimal configuration which will fully satisfy electricity demand, with the lowest possible price and carbon dioxide emissions. The two configurations used only diesel generators as a conventional power source. Here, emissions of carbon dioxide were the highest. In the third configuration, the cost-effectiveness of using wind turbines was examined. The result is not favorable due to the low wind speeds at that location. Then, in three cases, the combination of photovoltaic panels with diesel generators in different sizes was simulated. The best results were shown by a system composed of photovoltaic panels and a diesel generator whose capacity is less than the peak load. In the last configuration, fuel cells were incorporated into the energy system, the use of which would achieve the lowest carbon dioxide emissions but would increase the price of the system.
