Abstract
Cilj ovog rada bio je objasniti matematičku podlogu, ispravnost i smisao samog ECDSA algoritma koji je uvelike dobio na važnosti s pojavom digitalnog potpisa. U radu smo se dotakli raznih grana matematike kao što su algebra, teorija brojeva, aritmetika, matematička logika. Na kratkom primjeru Bitcoin transakcija smo pokazali kako naš algoritam ima veliku ulogu u posredovanju razmjenom kriptovaluta. Budući da nove kriptovalute svakodnevno nastaju te se njihove transakcije neprestano povećavaju, možemo naslutjeti da će ECDSA algoritam imati veliku ulogu u budućnosti.
Abstract (english)
Aim of this work was to explain math basis, correctness and sense of ECDSA algorithm which has gained importance with the occurrence of a digital signature. In this work, we touched on different branches of mathematics, such as algebra, number theory, arithmetics, math logic. On short example of Bitcoin transaction, we show how our algorithm has a big role in brokerage of cryptocurrencies. Whereas new cryptocurrencies are emerging on a daily basis and their transactions are constantly increasing, we can guess that the ECDSA algorithm will play a major role in the future.
