Abstract
Ovaj rad ima za cilj istražiti i objasniti koncept Backend-as-a-Service (BaaS) platformi, pružajući pregled njihovih značajki, prednosti i ograničenja. Kroz praktični dio rada, razvijena je web aplikacija uz korištenje BaaS platforme PocketBase kako bi se demonstrirala praktična primjena ovog koncepta. Rad pruža uvid u kako BaaS platforme olakšavaju razvoj aplikacija, istražuje njihove karakteristike, te ističe kako mogu ubrzati razvoj aplikacija bez dubokog ulaska u backend tehničke detalje.
Abstract (english)
This paper aims to explore and explain the concept of Backend-as-a-Service (BaaS) platforms, providing an overview of their features, advantages and limitations. Through the practical part of the work, a web application was developed using the PocketBase BaaS platform to demonstrate the practical application of this concept. The paper provides an insight into how BaaS platforms facilitate application development, explores their characteristics, and highlights how they can accelerate application development without going deep into the backend technical details.
