Abstract
U ovom završnom radu opisana je uporaba materijala za zvučnu i toplinsku izolaciju. Sama izolacija uvelike pridonosi energetskoj učinkovitosti te kvalitetnijem i udobnijem svakodnevnom životu, a navedeni su materijali koji se koriste u tu svrhu te njihova osnovna svojstva. Toplinska izolacija doprinosi zaštiti od loših klimatskih uvjeta ljeti i zimi, a zvučna izolacija zaštiti od neželjenih zvukova. Postoji veliki broj materijala koji služe za izoliranje topline, a najčešća podjela je na klasične (mineralna vlakna, ekstrudirani i ekspandirani polistiren…) i alternativne materijale (celulozni pramičci, ovčja vuna, pluto…), dok se materijali za izoliranje zvuka mogu podijeliti na anorganske (kamena i staklena vuna) i polimerne materijale (poliuretanska pjena, stiropor…).
Abstract (english)
In this bachelor thesis, the use of materials for acoustic and thermal insulation is described. The insulation itself greatly contributes to energy efficiency and better and more comfortable everyday life, the materials used for this purpose and their basic properties are listed. Thermal insulation contributes the protection against bad weather conditions in summer and winter and acoustic insulation protects against unwanted sounds. There is a large number of materials used for thermal insulation, the most common division is classical (mineral fibers, extruded and expanded polystyrene ...) and alternative materials (cellulose fiber, sheep wool, cork ...) while acoustic isolation materials can be divided into inorganic (stone and glass wool) and polymer materials (polyurethane foam, styrofoam ...).
