Abstract
Živčani sustav prima informacije iz okoline putem osjetilnih organa, obrađuje ih te ako je potrebno daje odovor na njih. To je bitna evolucijska prilagodba koja je omogućila organizmima lakše snalaženje u okolini, lakši pronalazak hrane te lakše preživljavanje. Jedan od tih osjetilnih organa kod čovjeka je uho koje ima dvojaku ulogu, a to je osjetilo sluha i osjetilo ravnoteže. Čovjeku osjetilo sluha omogućava registriranje zvučnih valova u rasponu od 16 Hz pa do 20 kHz. Dijeli se na vanjsko, srednje i unutarnje uho. U unutarnjem uhu se sastaju osjetilo sluha i ravnoteže. Nastali živčani impulsi slušnim živcem odlaze u središnji živčani sustav koji percipira zvuk i dovodi ga do razine svijesti ili opaža položaj i smjer kretanja glave.
Abstract (english)
Nervous system receives informations from the environment through sensory organs, nervous system preocess that informations and if it necessary nervous system responses on that informations. This is an important evolutional adaptation which has given the possibility to organisms to easy manage in the environment, easy find food etc., with this benefits survival has become easier. One of these sensory organs of human is ear and it has double purpose – sense of hearing and sense of equilibrium. Sense of hearing gives the possibility to human that he can registrate sound waves in range of 16 Hz to 20 kHz. Ear consists of outer ear, middle ear, inner ear. Sense of hearing and sense of equilibrium meet in the inner ear. Nerve impulses from the inner ear go on through vestibular nerve to central nervous system where brain percivies sound and make human conscious of sound or brain percivies position and movements of head.
