Abstract
U ovom radu opisani su fizikalni modeli toka u kardiovaskularnom sustavu. Na temelju jednadžbe kontinuiteta, Bernoullijeve jednadžbe i Poiseuilleove formule objašnjena su dva jednostavna modela protoka tekućine u krvnim žilama u ovisnosti o tlaku, popustljivosti i otpornosti krvnih žila. Opisana su svojstva i građa krvnih žila. Cilj rada jest dobiti uvid u jedan od dijelova složenog principa protoka krvi kroz krvotok. Poznavanje mehanizama toka doprinosi boljem razumijevanju nastanka nekih od bolesti krvožilnog sustava.
Abstract (english)
The main subject of the thesis is the modelling of the flow in the cardiovascular systems. Based on the physical equations such as the equation of continuity, the Bernoulli`s principle and the Poiseuille formula, we describe two models of the blood vessels and the flow in it, depending on the pressure, compliance and resistance of the blood vessels. The physical properties of the vesicles are also described. The thesis aim is to give a better insight into one of the very complex principles of the blood flow. Understanding the mechanism behind the flow will shed light on some of the medical problems related to the vascular diseases.
