Abstract
Jedrenje je vrlo kompleksan sport. Da bi se naučilo jedriti vrlo je važna praksa na moru. Međutim, osim toga potrebno je poznavati i fizikalnu teoriju jedrenja. Princip jedrenja zasnovan je na usklađivanju aerodinamičkih sila koje djeluju na jedra i hidrodinamičkih koje djeluju na podvodni dio trupa. U ovom završnom radu cilj je široj publici približiti način na koji navedene sile djeluju na jedrilicu i uzrokuju njeno gibanje te prikazati prisutne sile otpora. Usporediti ću djelovanje aerodinamičkih sila na jedro i na avionsko krilo, kao i nastanak turbulencija na istome. Reći ću nešto i o stabilnosti jedrilice na moru kao i o postavkama jedara za postizanje što boljeg učinka aerodinamičkih sila.
Abstract (english)
Sailing is a very complex sport. To learn how to sail, practice at the sea is very important. However, it is also necessary to know the theory of sailing. The principle of sailing is based on the alignment of aerodynamic forces acting on the sails and hydrodynamic forces acting on the underwater hull. In this Bachelor thesis, I will try to bring the audience closer to the way in which the mentioned forces act on the sailboat and make it go forward but also write about the forces that resist its movement. I will compare the effect of aerodynamic forces on the sail and on the airplane wing, as well as the occurrence of turbulence on them. I will also say something about the stability of a sailboat at sea as well as about adjusting the sails to achieve the best effect of aerodynamic forces.
