Abstract
Mikrovalnom metodom moguća je sinteza raznovrsnih čestica željezovih oksida te se danas sve češće koristi u laboratoriju. Najveća prednost ove metode je skraćeno vrijeme trajanja sinteze. Ovaj rad daje kratki uvid u tehnologiju sinteze i karakterizacije čestica željezovih oksida te brojnih primjena u medicini, biotehnologiji i industriji. Upravo radi njihovih brojnih primjena, vrlo je važno kontinuirano istraživanje metoda sinteze čestica željezovih oksida koje bi posjedovale osobine potrebne određenim primjenama. Ovim završnim radom utvrđeno je minimalno vrijeme sinteze čestica željezovog oksida, hematita, mikrovalnom hidrotermičkom metodom.
Abstract (english)
The microwave method is widely used in laboratories for the synthesis of iron oxide particles. The most important advantage of this method is the significantly reduced duration of the synthesis. This paper gives a short overview of the synthesis and characterization techniques of iron oxide particles and their numerous applications in medicine, biotechnology and industry. It is precisely because of their numerous applications that it is essential to continuously investigate the methods used to obtain iron oxide particles with the properties required for specific applications. In this thesis the minimum time required for the synthesis of iron oxide particles, hematite, by the hydrothermal microwave method is determined.
