Abstract
Specifičnosti psihijatrijskih poremećaja kod žena ovise o genetskim, tjelesnim, psihosocijalnim, kulturnim faktorima. Također, hormonalne promjene kojima su žene podložne većinu svojeg života, vezane su uz njihovo mentalno zdravlje. Bez obzira na emancipaciju žena, one su i dalje u mnogim kulturama i društvima potlačen spol. Radi toga često dolazi i do prešućivanja obiteljskog nasilja, odnosno nasilja u partnerskim vezama, u kojima su najčešće žrtve upravo žene. Nasilje, bilo ono psihičko, tjelesno, ekonomsko ili na primjer seksualno, ostavlja brojne i dugoročne posljedice. Među njima su i psihičke posljedice žrtve koje se najčešće odnose na pojavu, ili povratak, depresivnog poremećaja, anksioznog poremećaja, stres, zloupotrebu alkohola i droga i poremećaje hranjenja. Cilj rada je prikazati specifičnosti psihijatrijskih poremećaja u žena, te prikazati, kroz određenu literaturu, na koji su način biološke specifičnosti žena, povezane s njihovim mentalnim zdravljem. U radu je posvećena i pozornost na nasilje nad ženama te kako njegove posljedice utječu na mentalno funkcioniranje i zdravlje žena.
Abstract (english)
The specifics of female psychiatric disorders depend on genetic, physical, psychosocial, cultural factors. Also, hormonal changes that women are susceptible to most of their lives are related to their mental health. Regardless of the emancipation of women, they continue to be sex-stricken in many cultures and societies. For this reason, it often comes to the abolition of domestic violence, or violence in partnerships, where victims are most commonly women. Violence, whether psychological, physical, economic or, for example, sexually, leaves many and long-term consequences. Among them are the psychological consequences of the victims most often related to the occurrence or the return of depressive disorder, anxiety disorder, stress, alcohol and drug abuse, and eating disorders. The aim of the paper is to show, through specific literature, how the biological specificity of women, or their reproductive system is related to the mental health of women. The paper also devotes attention to violence against women and how its consequences affect the mental functioning and health of women.
