Abstract
Osnovni cilj ovog istraživanja je bio ispitati obilježja elektroničkog nasilja među adolescentima, točnije ispitati učestalost elektroničkog nasilja u uzorku sudionika te odnos nasilja putem Interneta i samopoštovanja adolescenata te kvalitete prijateljstva. Istraživanje je odobreno od strane Etičkog povjerenstva. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 115 sudionika (82 sudionika ženskog spola i 33 sudionika muškog spola) od sedmog razreda osnovne škole do četvrtog razreda srednje škole, raspona godina od 13-18, te prosječne dobi M=15,82 godina. Korištena je anketna metoda prikupljanja podataka, odnosno web anketa. Podaci su obrađeni korištenjem IBM SPSS programa. Podaci pokazuju kako većina sudionika (97,4%) ima otvoren profil na nekoj od društvenih mreža, od kojih najviše prevladavaju Whatsapp, Facebook i Instagram. Također njih 98,2% koristi društvene mreže više od godinu dana, te najviše sudionika koristi društvene mreže radi održavanja obiteljskih i prijateljskih kontakata (95,6%) te radi informiranja (91,2%). Učestalost elektroničkog nasilja, kako činjenja, tako i doživljavanja, među ovim uzorkom adolescenata se pokazala niskom. Prva hipoteza je potvrđena. Rezultati pokazuju kako postoji statistički značajna negativna povezanost između doživljavanja i činjenja elektroničkog nasilja sa samopoštovanjem. Nije pronađena značajna povezanost između doživljavanja, odnosno činjenja elektroničkog nasilja i kvalitete prijateljstva. Druga hipoteza prema ovim rezultatima nije potvrđena. U radu se raspravlja o mogućim objašnjenjima dobivenih rezultata te o značaju provođenja istraživanja ovakve tematike, nedostacima ovoga istraživanja te mogućim budućim implikacijama.
Abstract (english)
The aim of the study was to examine characteristics of cyberbullying among adolescents, specifically the frequency of cyberbullying and relationship between cyberbullying, self-esteem, and quality of friendship. This study has been approved by the Ethical Commitee. A sample of 115 (82 female and 33 male) students from the seventh grade of primary school to forth grade of middle school , aged from 13-18, with average age M= 15,82 participated in this study. The method for data collection that was used in this study was a web survey. The collected dana was processed using the IBM SPSS program. The results show that most of the participants (97,4%) has an active profile on any of the social networks, mostly on Whatsapp, Facebook and Instagram. Also, most of the participants (98,2%) use these networks for more than a year, and for reasons of upholding contacts with their family and friends (95,6%) and informing themselves (91,2%). The frequency of commiting and expiriencing cyberbullying among adolescents in this sample has shown to be low. The first hypotesis was confirmed. The results show that cyberbullying is negatively correlated with self-esteem. No correlation was found between cyberbullying and quality of friendship. The possible clarifications of the results, importance of conducting research on this topic and future implications, are discussed.
