Abstract
Obitelj je važan čimbenik u odrastanju svakog pojedinca. Obitelj posjeduje svoje izvore snage i čimbenike rizika. U slučajevima člana obitelji s intelektualnim teškoćama, obitelj predstavlja još snažniji faktor u životu osobe, jer osoba s intelektualnim teškoćama kroz vlastitu obitelj uči o socijalizaciji, adaptaciji i učenju. Iz tih razloga, nužno je ulagati u obitelj, učiniti dostupnim razne socijalne usluge kako bi i obitelj i osobe s intelektualnim teškoćama mogle u punom smislu živjeti kvalitetan i ispunjen život.
Abstract (english)
The family is an important factor in the growth of each individual. The family has its own power sources and risk factors. In cases of a member of a family with intellectual disabilities, the family is an even more powerful factor in a person's life because a person with intellectual disabilities through their own family learns about socialization, adaptation and learning. For these reasons, it is necessary to invest in the family, make available various social services so that both the family and the people with intellectual disabilities can fully live a quality and fulfilled life.
