Abstract
Rad se bavi problematikom edukacijskog uključivanja djece s teškoćama u razvoju na svim razinama obrazovanja. U prvom dijelu analizira se terminološko određenje pojma „teškoća u razvoju“ te prava djece s teškoćama. Nakon kratkog prikaza povijesnog razvoja edukacijskog uključivanja u Republici Hrvatskoj, slijedi analiza predškolskog, osnovnoškolskog i srednjoškolskog obrazovanja djece s teškoćama u razvoju. Završni dio rada ukratko se osvrće na značaj učitelja u inkluzivnoj praksi. Rad završava zaključkom o važnosti dodatne edukacije civilnog društva, odgajatelja, učitelja i profesora te ostalih pojedinaca koji su direktno ili indirektno uključeni u odgoj, obrazovanje i socijalizaciju ove djece. Ukoliko se ne razvija društvena svijest o ovoj problematici, djeci s teškoćama u razvoju bit će onemogućeno ravnopravno sudjelovanje u različitim segmentima svakodnevnog života što dovodi do isključivanja iz zajedice te doprinosi povećanju problema.
Abstract (english)
The work deals with issues of educational inclusion of children with disabilities at all levels of education. The first part analyzes the terminological definition of „disability“ and the rights of children with disabilities. After a brief overview of the historical development of educational inclusion in the Republic of Croatia, follows the analysis of pre-school, primary school and secondary school education of children with disabilities. The final part of the article briefly reviews the importance of educators in inclusive practice. The work concludes on the importance of additional education of civil society, educators, teachers and professors and other individuals who are directly or indirectly involved in the education and socialization of these children. If it does not develop a social awareness of this issue, children with disabilities will be prevented from equal participation in the various segments of everyday life which in turn leads to exclusion from the community and contributes to increasing the issue.
