Abstract
Osobe s invaliditetom smatraju se aseksualnim osobama, a stvarnost je zapravo potpuno različita. Isto tako, osobe koje odrastaju noseći se s tjelesnim invaliditetom, mogu se osjećati spolno neatraktivnima i biti nesklone bilo kakvom intimnom odnosu te imati smanjene mogućnosti za ostvarivanje seksualne veze. Dok se prava koja osobama s invaliditetom omogućavaju neovisan život sve više prepoznaju, područje roditeljstva i dalje je nedovoljno istraženo. Također u Hrvatskoj gotovo ni nema istraživanja o djeci roditelja s invaliditetom te o tome kako potrebe i poteškoće roditelja s invaliditetom utječu na roditeljstvo, obiteljsku dinamiku i odrastanje djece U životu osoba s invaliditetom veoma je važna podrška stoga ćemo se dotaknuti i te teme u ovom radu.
Abstract (english)
Disabled people consider themselves asexual, but the truth is that they are not. Also, people who grew up with physical disabilities could feel sexually unattractive and could be less prone to any type of intimacy as well as getting into sexual intercourse. The rights that ensure independent life for disabled people are more and more recognized while parental sector is still poorly researched and neglected.) Moreover, Croatia has very few researches about parents with disabled children and how their needs and struggles affect on their parenthood, family dynamics and child growing up. People with disabilities should get enough support by their surrounding environment, so that is why we are going to touch on that subject in this paper.
