Abstract
Mladi koji ispadaju iz srednjoškolskog sustava obrazovanja predstavljaju društveni problem koji pridonosi socijalnoj isključenosti i dugotrajnoj nezaposlenosti mladih, no u Hrvatskoj je nedovoljno istražen. Kao takav je prepoznat i od strane Europske unije te je smanjenje postotka mladih koji ispadaju iz srednjoškolskog sustava obrazovanja jedan od bitnih ciljeva strategije Europa 2020. U radu su predstavljeni razni rizici koji mogu dovesti do ispadanja mladih iz sustava obrazovanja, a to su rizici na individualnoj, obiteljskoj i školskoj razini te oni mogu biti povezani sa odnosima s vršnjacima i okolinom. Zbog toga je bitno utvrditi način praćenja mladih koji ispadaju iz srednjoškolskog sustava obrazovanja kako bi im se na vrijeme pružila podrška i pomoć pri zapošljavanju ili nastavku obrazovanja.
Abstract (english)
Dropping out of the Secondary School system it is a problem that is contributing to social exclusion and long-term youth unemployment. This is a problem that hasn't been sufficiently researched in Croatia. It has been recognized by the European Union and one of the key objectives of the Europe 2020 strategy is reducing the percentage of youth who drop out of the Secondary School system. There are several risks that can lead to dropping out of the Secondary School system, and they can be individual, family and school related. They can also be related to relationships with peers and the environment. Therefore, it is important to establish a way of monitoring youth who drop out of the Secondary School system in order to provide prompt support and assistance in employment or continuing education.
