The topic of the final paper is "Appeal in the general administrative procedure". For easier understanding of the appeal as the only regular legal remedy against the decision in administrative matter, the first part of the work will explain in general about the administrative procedure and distinction general and special administrative procedure. The administrative procedure is conditioned by the principles of which for this paper, the most important right of the party to a legal remedy, each principle is briefly explained. It then states in which ways the administrative procedure can be initiated and determined of the factual situation by directly solving the administrative matter. The fourth chapter is also dedicated to the deadlines set for the undertaking actions in the procedure and the way in which the official informs the party and other participants about action in action. At the end of the chapter, decision-making in the administrative procedure is described represents the last stage of the first-instance administrative procedure. Furthermore, legal remedies in the legal system will be analyzed, their division into regular and extraordinary. Then in the sixth chapter follows a detailed analysis of the appeal, which are the ways filing an appeal, what can be the subject of an appeal and what it must contain. They are listed procedures and powers of the first-instance and second-instance authorities regarding the received appeal and what decisions these bodies can make and within what time frame. In the Republic of Croatia, appeals can be made file only against the first-instance decision because there is no possibility of a three-instance decision of decision-making.
