Abstract
Europa je već godinama konačno odredište za brojne migrante koji iz svojih matičnih zemalja odlaze u potrazi za boljim životom. Razvojem Europske unije, razvijala se i imigracijska politika iste, te politika azila. Može se reći kako je sve funkcioniralo dobro dok Europu nije zadesio masovni val imigranata s područja sjeverne Afrike i Bliskog istoka. Politika na razini Unije nije bila jasna, problemu se pristupalo različito, svaka država na svoj način. Nije bilo učinkovitih strateških planova, kapaciteta za prihvat tolikog broja ljudi, a dogodile su se i ozbiljni sigurnosni propusti. U radu se analizira imigracijska politika Europske unije, s posebnim osvrtom na migrantsku krizu 2015., koja će sasvim sigurno ostaviti posljedice kako na sigurnost građana, kulturu, društvo, tako i na samu Uniju.
Abstract (english)
For years Europe has been final destination for the number of migrants who are leaving their home countries searching for better lives. As the European Union was growing, immigration and asylum policy have also been developing. It all worked well, until enormous migrant wave from the teritory of North Africa and Middle East hit the Europe. There was no clear politics on the Europen Union level, the problem was approached differently, each country on its own way. There were no efficient strategy plans, capacites for taking in so many people, and also big security oversights happened all over Europe. The subject of research and analysis is immigration policy of the European Union, with special review on the migrant crisis in 2015., which will surely leave the consequences not just on safety of the citizens, culture, society, but on Union itself as well.
