Abstract
Motivacijsko intervjuiranje predstavlja poseban oblik savjetovanja temeljen na suradnji sa korisnikom. U toj suradnji savjetovatelj ne nagovora korisnika na promjenu, već s njim pregovora o promjeni. Također, u motivacijskom intervjuu savjetovatelj više sluša nego što priča, podupirući na taj način korisnikovu unutarnju motivaciju. Glavna polazišna pretpostavka motivacijskog intervjua je da se ljudi mijenjaju različitim intenzitetom i na različite načine. Tako neka osoba može biti svjesna da je... More promjena nužna, ali joj se prvi korak čini nemogućim za učiniti. S druge strane, netko drugi može aktivno pokušavati promijeniti svoje ponašanje, ali primjenjujući načine koji su neučinkoviti. U motivacijskom intervjuu zastupa se vjerovanje da svaka osoba ima snažan potencijal za promjenu, a zadatak savjetovatelja je da oslobodi taj potencijal i potakne promjenu. Motivacijski intervju, kao stručna klinička metoda, ima za cilj razrješavanje motivacijskih pitanja koja sprječavaju korisnika da učini promjenu u svome životu. Ono što želimo učiniti u motivacijskom intervjuu je da se osoba deblokira, kako bi mogla započeti proces promjene. Jednom kada ta promjena započne, uspjeh može doći vrlo brzo uz malo savjetovateljeve pomoći i podrške ili može zahtijevati dodatni angažman profesionalne podrške. Less
Abstract (english)
Motivational interviewing is a special form of counseling based on cooperation with the client. In this collaboration, the counselor does not persuade the user to change, instead he negotiates a change with him. Also, in a motivational interview, the counselor listens more than he talks, thus supporting the user’s intrinsic motivation. The main starting assumption of a motivational interview is that people change with different intensity and in different ways. Thus a person may be aware that... More change is necessary, but the first step seems impossible to do. On the other hand, someone else may be actively trying to change their behavior, but by applying ways that are ineffective.The motivational interview advocates the belief that each person has a strong potential for change, and the counselor’s task is to unleash that potential and encourage change. Motivational interview, as a professional clinical method, aims to address motivational issues that prevent the client from making a change in their life. What we want to do in a motivational interview is to unblock the person, so that they can begin the process of change.
