Abstract
Radna eksploatacija i dječji rad je globalno raširen problem, a osobito u siromašnim zemljama kao što su Indija i Nepal. Obje zemlje karakteriziraju siromaštvo, nedostatak obrazovanja građana te slaba svijest o ljudskim pravima, a osobito djece. Upravo te karakteristike su razlozi zbog kojih je dječji rad u tim zemljama toliko rasprostranjen. Iako su teoretski obje zemlje usvojile ključne dokumente za suzbijanje ovog problema, u praksi je situacija drugačija. Nažalost, usprkos naporima raznih organizacija kao što je Međunarodna organizacija rada i Unicef te samih vlada da se konačno suzbije ovaj problem te s pojavom pandemije zapravo sve više djece postaje žrtva prisilnog dječjeg rada. Stoga kroz ovaj rad autorica će nastojati prikazati stvarnu situaciju dječjeg rada u Indiji i Nepalu.
Abstract (english)
Labor exploitation and child labor is a global problem, especially in poor countries such as India and Nepal. Both countries are characterized by poverty, lack of education of their citizens and also poor awareness of human rights, especially of children. These characteristics are the reason why child labor is so widespread in these countries. Although in theory both countries have adopted key documents to combat this problem, in practice the situation is different. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of various organizations such as the International Labor Organization and UNICEF and the governments themselves to finally combat this problem, and with the emergence of a pandemic, more and more children are becoming victims of forced child labor. Therefore, through this diploma paper, the author will try to show the real situation of child labor in India and Nepal.
