Abstract
U ovom diplomskom radu razradit ću temu građanskog neposluha unutar demokratske države. Građanski neposluh unutar demokratske države podrazumijeva otvorenu borbu svakog pojedinca pa i skupine građana za pravedniji sustav. Ta borba se može iskazivati kroz štrajkove, prosvjede, bojkote. Građanski neposluh u svojoj srži je nenasilan i javan čin, nije sam po sebi prijetnja, već mu je cilj poboljšanje pravednog demokratskog sustava. Na samim počecima iskazivanja građanskog neposluha u demokratskim državama građanski neposluh se iskazivao kao reakcija na kršenje osnovnih ljudskih prava, na robovlasništvo, na rasnu segregaciju i svaku pojavu gdje su neki ljudi bili slobodniji i „jednakiji“ od drugih ljudi. Danas je građanski neposluh više usmjeren prema nepravednim zakonima i institucijama, cilj mu je promjena zakona i institucija na bolje u slučaju očitih nepravdi.
Abstract (english)
In this thesis, I will elaborate on the topic of civil disobedience within a democratic state. Civil disobedience within a democratic state implies an open struggle of every individual and group of citizens for a fairer system. This struggle can be expressed through strikes, protests, boycotts. At its core, civil disobedience is a non-violent and public act, it is not a threat in itself, but its goal is to improve a democratic system. At the very beginnings of civil disobedience in democratic states, civil disobedience was expressed as a reaction to the violation of basic human rights, to slavery, to racial segregation and any phenomenon where some people were freer and “more equal” than other people. Today, civil disobedience is more directed towards unjust laws and institutions, its goal is to change laws and institutions for the better in case of obvious injustices.
