Abstract
The aim of this paper was to examine the necessity of cultural competences in social work while working with migrants and try to determine how existing literature deals with this issue through a series of research papers. An introduction was written at the beginning of this paper, and that part briefly defines/explains what the task of the final paper is. The subject of research in this final paper is the role cultural competences play in working with migrants and how they can be applied in the social work field. Following the introductory part, the importance of cultural competences is shown through the compiled literature. Finally, a conclusion was given linking the topic of cultural competence with the necessity of field wide organization. The references are listed in the end of the paper.
Abstract (croatian)
Cilj ovog rada bio je ispitati nužnost kulturoloških kompetencija u socijalnom radu u radu s migrantima i pokušati utvrditi na koji način postojeća literatura obrađuje ovu problematiku kroz niz istraživačkih radova. Uvod je napisan na početku ovog rada, a taj dio ukratko definira/objašnjava što je zadatak završnog rada. Predmet istraživanja u ovom završnom radu je uloga koju kulturne kompetencije imaju u radu s migrantima i kako se one mogu primijeniti u području socijalnog rada. Nakon uvodnog dijela prikazana je važnost kulturnih kompetencija kroz prikupljenu literaturu. Naposljetku, dan je zaključak koji povezuje temu kulturne kompetencije s nužnošću organizacije cijelog područja. Literatura je navedena na kraju rada.
