Abstract
U ovom radu prikazuje se što je alkoholizam i koji su oblici grupnog rada s alkoholičarima. Svrha ovog rada je prikazati koje sve mogućnosti postoje u liječenju alkoholizma kroz grupni rad i koja je svrha grupnog rada u tom procesu. U prvom dijelu rada definira se alkoholizam, pojašnjava se etiologija i epidemiologija alkoholizma te dijagnosticiranje i liječenje alkoholizma. U drugom dijelu rada prikazuje se najčešći, ali i najuspješniji oblik rada s alkoholičarima – grupni rad. U tom dijelu govori se o načinima rada u klubovima liječenih alkoholičara, u terapijskim zajednicama te u grupi Anonimnih Alkoholičara. U posljednjem dijelu rada govori se o višestrukoj ulozi koju socijalni radnik ima u radu s alkoholičarem – motiviranje, poticanje na apstinenciju, rad na resocijalizaciji te pružanje savjetovanja alkoholičaru i njegovoj obitelji.
Abstract (english)
This paper shows what alcoholism is and what are the forms of group work with alcoholics. The purpose of this work is to show what all the possibilities exist in the treatment of alcoholism through group work and what is the purpose of group work in that process. In the first part of the paper, alcoholism is defined, the etiology and epidemiology of alcoholism, and the diagnosis and treatment of alcoholism are clarified. In the second part of the paper is presented, the most common, but also the most successful form of working with alcoholics - group work. That part talks about the ways of working in clubs of treated alcoholics, in therapeutic communities and in the group of Alcoholics Anonymous. The last part of the paper talks about the multiple role that the social worker has in working with alcoholics – motivating, encouraging abstinence, working on resocialization and providing counseling to the alcoholic and his family.
