Abstract
Kvaliteta života predstavlja percepciju pojedinca o svojoj vlastitoj poziciji u životu i to unutar okvira kulturološkog i vrijednosnog sustava, njegovih očekivanja, njegovih ciljeva, ali s druge strane i briga. Kvaliteta života stoga podrazumijeva koncept putem kojeg je uključeno ne samo fizičko zdravlje, nego ujedno psihološko zdravlje pojedinca, njegovi socijalni odnosi, osobna autonomija i ostali čimbenici. Osobe s oštećenjem sluha, tj. nagluhe i gluhe osobe susreću se s brojnim izazovima u svakodnevnom životu. Izazovi se odnose na polje komunikacije, obrazovanja, zapošljavanja kao i sudjelovanja u socijalnim odnosima. Svakako ovdje se ne smije izostaviti i dio koji se odnosi na psihološko zdravlje osoba s oštećenjem sluha. Temeljni cilj ovog rada stoga je usmjeren na proučavanje kvalitete života osoba s oštećenjem sluha na području Republike Hrvatske s naglaskom na provođenje kvalitetnih projekata kojima bi cilj bio poboljšanje trenutnog stanja.
Abstract (english)
The quality of life represents the individual's perception of his own position in life within the framework of the cultural and value system, his expectations, his goals, but on the other hand, his concerns. Quality of life therefore implies a concept through which not only physical health is involved, but also the psychological health of the individual, his social relationships, personal autonomy, and other factors. People with hearing impairment, i.e., hard of hearing and deaf people, face numerous challenges in their everyday life. The challenges relate to the field of communication, education, employment, and participation in social relations. Of course, the part related to the psychological health of people with hearing loss should not be left out here. The main goal of this work is therefore focused on the study of the quality of life of hearing-impaired people in the Republic of Croatia with an emphasis on the implementation of quality projects aimed at improving the current situation.
