Abstract
Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je ispitati ulogu društvenih mreža u kvaliteti života mladih odraslih osoba, odnosno ispitati odnos stavova o društvenim mrežama i kvalitete života te ispitati odnos vremena provedenog na društvenim mrežama sa stavovima o istima i kvalitetom života. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 318 mladih osoba od 18 do 35 godina (64.8% ženskog spola). Dobiveni rezultati ukazuju da osobe koje imaju pozitivniji stav prema društvenim mrežama svoju kvalitetu života procjenjuju boljom od... More osoba koje prema društvenim mrežama imaju negativne stavove. Nadalje, osobe koje dnevno provedu više vremena (dva ili više sati) na društvenim mrežama imaju pozitivnije stavove prema društvenim mrežama u odnosu na osobe koje dnevno na društvenim mrežama provedu manje vremena (jedan sat ili manje). Naposljetku, osobe koje provode manje sati (jedan sat i manje) na društvenim mrežama te osobe koje provode više sati (dva ili više) slično procjenjuju svoju kvalitetu života. Ovi rezultati su važni jer mogu poslužiti razumijevanju utjecaja društvenih mreža na kvalitetu života mladih odraslih osoba te kao smjernica za buduća istraživanja na ovu temu. Less
Abstract (english)
The goal of this research was to examine the role of social networks in the quality of life of young adults, that is, to examine the relationship between attitudes about social networks and quality of life, and to examine the relationship between time spent on social networks and attitudes about social networks and quality of life. 318 young people aged 18 to 35 (64.8% female) participated in the research. The obtained results indicate that people who have a more positive attitude towards... More social networks evaluate their quality of life more positively than people who have a negative attitude towards social networks. Furthermore, people who spend more time (two or more hours) on social networks per day have more positive attitudes towards social networks than people who spend less time (one hour or less) on social networks per day. Finally, people who spend fewer hours (one hour or less) on social networks and people who spend more hours (two or more) evaluate their quality of life similarly. These results are important because they can serve to understand the impact of social networks on the quality of life of young adults and as a guideline for future research on this topic. Less
