The concept of public administration, as well as its structural organization and mechanisms of action, is discussed in the final paper on the topic "Problems of Public Administration in the Republic of Croatia with Special Emphasis on Office Operations". The Croatian public administration is obliged to demonstrate the features of reliability, transparency, responsibility, efficiency and coherence in order to fulfill its obligations of compliance with the legislation established by the European Union. The field of public administration is closely related to the activities that take place in the office environment. This is due to the fact that performing these office tasks fulfills obligations arising from public administration. Inadequate efficiency of service provision, demotivation of workers, decentralization, system obsolescence and failure to keep pace with technological innovations are just some of the difficulties faced by the Croatian public administration. Using performance analysis to pinpoint and address areas of operational inefficiency is a major goal of the process of creating new strategies and plans. Based on the observed inefficiencies, relevant decisions and actions are taken to ensure the successful execution of the stated strategies and plans. The implementation of adopted strategies and development plans will be the basis for achieving the primary goal of the planned changes, which is, above all, the strengthening of customer support. Special emphasis will also be placed on the complete transition to digital data processing systems, human resource development, capacity building, development and improvement of local regional and regional self-government units.
