Abstract
Ovim završnim radom se ukazuje na prednosti željezničkog prometa te kako on utječe na okoliš. Na željeznički promet gledamo kao na najprihvatljiviji oblik prometa koji najviše pridonosi očuvanju okoliša i održiv je na dugi rok. U komparaciji sa drugim granama prometa na željeznički promet otpada najmanje emisije ugljikova dioksida pa iz toga zaključujemo da mu se ide u prilog zbog čistoće i najmanjeg utjecaja na okoliš. Prednost željeznici se daje u potrošnji pogonske energije, stvaranju buke i prijevozu opasnih tvari, a kod korištenja kombiniranog prijevoza u optimalnu cjelinu se spaja s cestovnim teretnim prometom. Na kraju rada je dan osvrt na završni rad.
Abstract (english)
This final work points to the benefits of rail traffic and how it affects the environment. We consider rail transport as the most affordable form of transport that contributes most to the preservation of the environment and is sustainable in the long run. Compared with other branches of rail traffic, the least CO2 emissions are refered on railways, and we conclude that it is in favor of cleanliness and least impact on the environment. The advantage of railways is in the consumption of power, noise generation and transport of hazardous substances, and when we talk about combined transport, for optimal totality it's connected with road traffic. At the end of the work, a review is given on the final work.
