Abstract
Predmet ovog rada je pranje novca i njegovi financijsko-pravni učinci. U radu se nakon uvodnih napomena, u kojima se daje kratki pregled važnosti pranja novca kao ilegalne aktivnosti s nizom negativnih posljedica, definira pojam pranja novca i prikazuje se povijesni razvoj te aktivnosti. Govori se o tehnikama kojima se pranje novca najčešće ostvaruje, objašnjavaju se neke od njih kao i faze kroz koje obično, iako ne i nužno, prolazi. Iznosi se čitav niz negativnih posljedica i opasnosti koje proizlaze iz pranja novca za međunarodni i nacionalni sustav i navode se najvažniji međunarodni i nacionalni propisi i organizacije koji su doneseni i utemeljeni s ciljem zaustavljanja te, u svijetu sofisticirane tehnologije, sve sofisticiranije aktivnosti.
Abstract (english)
The focal point of this thesis will be on money laundering and the financial-legal impact it produces. Following the initial remarks, in which the short summary of money laundering as an illegal activity and its various negative impacts are being presented, the thesis continues by defining what the term "money laundering" represents and by displaying the origins and the evolution of the act itself. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on the techniques most commonly used for money laundering while also providing a more detailed insight at some of them and explaining the phases it usually, although not necessarily always, goes trough. A whole sequence of negative consequences to the the international and national systems arising from money laundering is being discussed while also displaying the most important international and national regulations and the organizations that were founded with a sole intention to prevent money laundering and all of its additional illegal activities and consequences.
