During the start-up, and later on the development of entrepreneurial ventures, there are numerous obstacles to entrepreneurship, one of is certainly the source of funding, lack of information and entrepreneurial knowledge. In order to establish a quality company, it is important to have an entrepreneurial environment, support of entrepreneurial institutions and entrepreneurial infrastructure. Entrepreneurial environment is defined as an association of institutions that have a direct or indirect impact on the overall activity of entrepreneur. This paper defines the concepts of entrepreneurship and the forms of financing. Also there is the institutional support that is very important for the development of small and medium entrepreneurship in the Republic of Croatia, following chapter is about concept of entrepreneurial infrastructure such as Entrepreneurial Zone, Development Agencies, Entrepreneurial Centers or part of entrepreneurial infrastructure serve to meet the needs of entrepreneurs, Entrepreneurial incubators and Technology parks. There is also a chapter titled Entrepreneurship promotion programs explaining the ways of encouraging these examples of several projects that can be of great importance for the development of the economy, entrepreneurship and crafts of the Republic of Croatia and something about Business angels.
