Abstract
U ovom radu raspravlja se o migracijskoj politici koja se razvija u Europskoj uniji, o tome koliko ju je Europska unija dobro razradila donošenjem raznih odgovarajućih pravnih propisa. Također govori se o povijesti nastanka migracija na području Europske unije, te koji su to uzroci nastanka migracija. Spominje se i razvoj zajedničkog sustava azila koji se definira ugovorom iz Amsterdama. Navode se razni dokumenti pravne stečevine o azilu kao što su Direktiva o privremenoj zaštiti ili Direktiva o prihvatu. Velike migracije koje su se događale 2015. godine snažno su pogodile Europsku uniju koja od drugog svjetskog rata nije bila u tolikoj migracijskoj krizi. U toj krizi izbjeglice bježe s istoka u zapadnu Europu zbog ratnih sukoba u njihovim državama. Potpisivanjem schengenskog sporazuma započela je zajednička migracijska politika Europske unije, brisanjem unutarnjih granica omogućava se neograničena putovanja unutar nekolicine država Europske unije, ali to sve uz nadzor granica koji obavlja agencija FRONTEX.
Abstract (english)
This paper discusses the migration policy that is developing in the European Union, how well the EU has worked out it by adopting various appropriate legal regulations. It also discusses the history of migration in the European Union and what causes migration. The development of a common asylum system defined by the Treaty of Amsterdam is also mentioned. Various documents on the asylum acquis are cited, such as the Temporary Protection Directive or the Reception Directive. The major migrations that took place in 2015 hit the European Union hard, which had not been in such a migrant crisis since World War II. In this crisis, refugees are fleeing from the East to Western Europe because of the conflict in their countries. The signing of the Schengen Agreement has initiated the common migration policy of the European Union, deleting internal borders allows unrestricted travel within a few EU countries, all under the control of borders carried out by FRONTEX.
