Abstract
Tema ovog rada je Diskriminacija žena na tržištu rada. Ovim radom nastojala sam objasniti pojam diskriminacije te diskriminatoran položaj žena u odnosu na muškarce na tržištu rada u globalu budući da sam spomenula položaj žena na međunarodnoj razini, na razini EU i u samoj Republici Hrvatskoj. Položaj žena se kroz povijest poboljšao, ali još uvijek nije dostigao ravnopravnu razinu u odnosu na muškarce. Diskriminacija na tržištu rada po pitanju spola je i dalje uvelike prisutna, ali se pokušava suzbiti što je više moguće. U Republici Hrvatskoj doneseni su zakoni koji jamče poboljšanje položaja žena na tržištu rada i suzbijanje oblika diskriminacije između muškaraca i žena, a to su Zakon o radu, Zakon o ravnopravnosti spolova i Zakon o suzbijanju diskriminacije.
Abstract (english)
The topic of this paper is Women discrimination on a labour market. With this paper I tried to explain the concept of discrimination and the discriminatory position of women in relation to men in the global labor market, since I mentioned the position of women at the international level, at the EU level and in the Republic of Croatia. The position of women has improved throughout history, but has not yet reached an equal level compared to men. Gender discrimination in the labor market is still widespread, but efforts are being made to combat it as much as possible. In the Republic of Croatia, laws have been adopted that guarantee the improvement of the position of women in the labor market and the suppression of forms of discrimination between men and women, namely the Labor Act, the Gender Equality Act and the Anti-Discrimination Act.
