Abstract
Svrha ovog završnog rada je opisati pravne baze podataka. Prvi dio rada odnosi se na razvoj pravnih baza podataka i bitnih karakteristika pravnih baza. Drugi dio rada odnosi se na vrste pravnih baza podataka: baze zakonodavstva, baze sudske prakse, baze znanstvenih i stručnih radova te kombinirane baze. Također, objašnjeno je i pretraživanje pravnih baza podataka, i to putem jednostavnog i naprednog pretraživanja. Na kraju rada navedene su najčešće korištene pravne baze podataka Sjedinjenih Američkih Država, Europske Unije i Hrvatske.
Abstract (english)
The purpose of this final thesis is to describe legal databases. The first part of the thesis is focused on the development of legal databases and their essential characteristics. The second part of the thesis concerns the types of legal databases: legislation databases, judicial practice databases, databases of scientific and professional papers and books, and combined databases. Also explained is the search of legal databases, either through simple or advanced searches. Finally, the most frequently used US, EU and Croatian legal databases are listed and described.
