Abstract
U ovom diplomskom radu temeljito ću obraditi temu sudbene vlasti u Republici Hrvatskoj. Svaka država suvremenog karaktera počiva na vladavini prava, a vladavina prava ovisi o njezinoj provedbi. Provedba vladavine prava u najvećoj mjeri ovisi o kvalitetnom funkcioniranju sudbene vlasti. Temeljno obilježje ovog rada bit će prikaz sustava sudbene vlasti Republike Hrvatske prema granama i hijerarhiji. Isto tako u radu ću pokušati objasniti povijesni razvitak sudbene vlasti u Hrvatskoj, kao i razvitak sudbene vlasti u budućnosti s naglaskom na Visoki kazneni sud. Prilikom pisanja rada u obzir su uzete specifičnosti sudbene vlasti u Republici Hrvatskoj, kao i sudbene vlasti uopće, vodeći računa o posebnom položaju i neovisnosti Ustavnog suda kao i specifičnoj prirodi Državnog odvjetništva koje ne spada u strukturu sudbene vlasti ali ima bitnu ulogu u funkcioniranju sudbene vlasti.
Abstract (english)
In this thesis, I will thoroughly address the topic of judicial power in the Republic of Croatia. Every state of modern character rests on the rule of law, and the rule of law depends on its implementation. The implementation of the rule of law largely depends on the quality of the functioning of the judiciary. The basic feature of this paper will be the analysis of the judicial system of the Republic of Croatia according to branches and hierarchy. Also in this paper I will try to explain the historical development of the judiciary in Croatia, as well as the development of the judiciary in the future with an emphasis on the High Criminal Court. When writing the paper, the specifics of the judiciary in the Republic of Croatia, as well as the judiciary in general, were taken into account, taking into account the independence of the Constitutional Court and the specific nature of the State Attorney's Office.
