The roles of the citizens in relation to government have changed during history. There is an improvment in the position of citizens which gives them more rights, including the right of free associaton, which is considered as one of the fundamental human rights. The right of free association is guaranteed by many international documents and The Constitution of the Republic of Croatia. There is also a development in associations as organizations in which citizens associate in order to protect their rights or promote certain interests. MoSt Association is founded to help children, young people with problematic behaviour, the homeless and people living in destitution. For this purpose, this association implements many programs and projects, organizes various humanitarian actions and publishes publications. Activities like this are aimed at helping and supporting children and young people, and combating social exclusion, poverty and homelessness.
