Abstract
Grad Zagreb je glavni i najveći grad u Republici Hrvatskoj, jedinica je lokalne samouprave koja ujedno ima i položaj jedinice područne (regionalne) samouprave – županije. U Gradu Zagrebu postoji dvostupanjska mjesna samouprava – organizirane su gradske četvrti pored mjesnih odbora. U radu se analizira ustrojavanje, razvitak, postojeće stanje, djelokrug i funkcioniranje oba oblika mjesne samouprave u Gradu Zagrebu; financiranje i imovina mjesne samouprave; održavanje komunalne infrastrukture i poboljšanje komunalnog standarda; prostorni, administrativno-tehnički i drugi uvjeti rada tijela mjesne samouprave; Gradski ured za mjesnu samoupravu, civilnu zaštitu i sigurnost; te javnost i vidljivost rada tijela mjesne samouprave u Gradu Zagrebu.
Abstract (english)
The City of Zagreb is the capital and largest city in the Republic of Croatia, it is a unit of local self-government which also has the position of a unit of regional self-government - county. There is a two-tier sub-municipal self-government in the City of Zagreb - city districts are organized next to local committees. The organization, development, current situation, scope and functioning of both forms of sub-municipal self-government in the City of Zagreb; financing and property of sub-municipal self-government; maintenance of communal infrastructure and improvement of communal standard; spatial, administrative-technical and other working conditions of sub-municipal self-government bodies; City Office for Local Self - Administration, Civil Protection and Safety; and the publicity and visibility of the work of sub-municipal self-government bodies in the City of Zagreb is elaborate in the master's thesis.
