Abstract
Dezinformacije su prisutne u ljudskoj komunikaciji od početaka civilizacije. Dezinformacije su lažne informacije koje se namjerno šire kako bi se zavarali ljudi te kako bi se izgradila kriva slika o nekoj temi. Društvene mreže i Internet su posebno prikladni za dezinformiranje javnosti te omogućavaju pogrešnim informacijama da dođu do široke publike što može imati razne posljedice. U ogromnoj količini informacija na društvenim mrežama i Internetu teško je razlučiti provjerene i istinite informacije od lažnih. Podizanjem svijesti ljudi o važnosti prehrane za zdravlje sve veći broj ljudi je za izvor informacija o prehrani počeo koristiti Internet i društvene mreže. Upravo zbog toga, fokus se stavlja na prepoznavanje lažnih vijesti i konkretne primjere kako doći do provjerenih informacija. Dostupna istraživanja u radu dokazuju kako društvene mreže utječu na oblikovanje mišljenja ljudi o hrani i prehrani. U ovom radu će biti prikazano što su dezinformacije na Internetu i društvenim mrežama te na koji način se mogu širiti, ali i prevenirati.
Abstract (english)
Misinformation has been present in human communication since the beginnings of civilization. Misinformation is false information that is intentionally spread in order to mislead people and to build the false image about a topic. Social networks and the Internet are particulary suitable for misinforming the public and allow wrong information to reach a wide audience which can have various consequences. In the huge amount of information on social networks and the Internet, it is difficult to distinguish verified and true information from false one. By raising people's awareness of the importance of nutrition for health, an increasing number of people have started using the Internet and social networks to source nutrition information. This is why the focus is on recognizing fake news and concrete examples of how to get verified information. The available research proves how social networks influence the formation od people's opinions about food and nutrition. This paper will show what misinformation is on the Internet and social networks and how they can be spread, but also prevented.
