Abstract
U diplomskom radu identificirane su lokacije prirodno radioaktivnih materijala na području Republike Hrvatske. Radi se o lokacijama različitih materijala, od ležišta mineralnih sirovina do industrijskog otpada. Cilj rada je započinjanje izrade baze podataka i identifikacije lokacija s prirodno radioaktivnim materijalima i reziduima. Svrha izrade je olakšavanje planiranja budućih industrijskih radova i urbanizacije, s naglaskom na zaštitu okoliša i ljudskog zdravlja te povećanje kvalitete života. Baza podataka u ovom radu je rađena pomoću GIS softvera koji omogućuje lakše prikupljanje, upravljanje, analizu te vizualizaciju podataka. Koristeći GIS softver identificirane lokacije su označene na karti, uz popratne opise o samoj lokaciji te materijalu.
Abstract (english)
This master’s thesis identifies the locations of naturally radioactive materials in the territory of the Republic of Croatia. These are locations of different materials, from mineral deposits to industrial waste. The aim of the thesis is to start to develop a database and to identify the locations with naturally occurring radioactive materials and residues. The purpose of the work is to facilitate the planning of future industrial works and urbanization with an emphasis on environmental and human health and to increase the quality of life. The database in this thesis was created using GIS software that makes it easier to collect, manage, analyse and visualize data. Using GIS software, identified locations are marked on the map with accompanying descriptions of the site itself as well as the material.
