Abstract
Stalna potreba za povećanjem sigurnosti, produktivnosti i profitabilnosti u rudarstvu potiče kontinuiran razvoj tehnologija za automatizaciju procesa u rudniku. Danas rudari svakodnevno koriste mnogo jednostavnih oblika automatizacije čega vjerojatno nisu niti svjesni. Ovaj se rad dotiče trenutne primjene tehnologija automatizacije u rudarstvu i razvoja istih koje će biti u komercijalne u bliskoj budućnosti. Primjer tehnologije koja se koristi za automatizaciju je Arduino – elektronička platforma temeljena na komponentama i programu koji su jednostavni za upotrebu i imaju razvijenu zajednicu otvorenog izvora. U okviru rada provedena su mjerenja osnovnom Arduino platformom u usporedbi s preciznim instrumentom za mjerenje sa svrhom određivanja performansi mjerenja Arduinom. Također, navedeni su neki primjeri postojeće primjene Arduina u automatizaciji kao i potencijalne mogućnosti primjene s obzirom na određene parametre.
Abstract (english)
Constant need to improve safety, productivity and safety of mining is driving the continuous development of automation technologies in mines. Nowadays, many simple forms of automation are being used by miners every day but are probably unaware of it. This thesis touches on current implementation of automation technologies in mining industry and the development of those that will turn commercial in near future. One example of a technology used in automation is Arduino – an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. As part of the thesis, measurements were performed with basic Arduino platform and compared with those of precise measuring instrument for the purpose of determining Arduino measurement performance. Also, some examples of existing application of Arduino in automation are given, as well as potential application options considering the determined performance.
