The goal of the research was to make an erosion risk assesment map for the coast of Liberia in regional scale of 1:1.500.000 based on all conducted research on similar topics and available data in the state or other international archives. Five main erosion factors were analysed: yearly rate of erosion and accretion , sea water inundation, population density, cultural heritage and land use land cover data. The method used in this thesis was used in the research conducted by Ivica Trumbić regarding land vulnerability mapping for the state od Orrisha in India in the year 2018. Methodology is based on heuristic assesments which rely on experiential knowledge of the expert who decides which factors have to be factored into the analysis. These factors are then processed and later on added up showing the areas divided according to the degrees of relative risk. The factors went through 7 different classification types. Five of those were generated by the software ArcGIS while the other two were manually specified by according to the researchers’ experiential assessment. Analysis showed that the experiential classification Klasifikacija 2 is the most accurate. It showed that 53,40% of the researched area is classified as the area with low degree of relative risk, 31,78% as the area with medium degree of relative risk, 9,83% as area with high degree of relative risk and 4,99% as area with very high degree of relative risk. With regards to the current conditions, it is necessary to take coastal erosion prevention measures starting with northwest part of Liberia where the coast is exposed to the coastal erosion process the most.
