Abstract
Svjetlosno onečišćenje obuhvaća skup posljedica koje izaziva svaka promjena prirodne razine svjetlosti u noćnim uvjetima, nastala kao rezultat antropogenog djelovanja. Posljedice svjetlosnog onečišćenja imaju biološku dimenziju (utjecaj na biljke, životinje i ljude) no i energetsko-sociološku dimenziju (potrošnja energije i gubitak noćnog neba). Na ozbiljnost svjetlosnog onečišćenja utječe količina i svrha rasvjete, tehnologija osvjetljenja itd., kao antropogeni čimbenici te naoblaka, padaline, dim i prašina i sl. kao atmosferski čimbenici. Kontinuirana mjerenja u periodu od osam mjeseci pokazala su da je standardna vrijednost svjetline noćnog neba u gradu Zagrebu oko 17 magnitude s maksimalnom vrijednošću 18 mag u izrazito vedrim uvjetima. Utjecaj naoblake na količinu svjetlosnog onečišćenja na tlu je značajan (do 3 mag) u usporedbi s vedrim nebom bez Mjeseca.
Abstract (english)
Abstract: Light pollution includes a whole group of effects that are caused by any change in the night sky brightness level as a result of anthropogenic activity. Effects of light pollution have a biological dimension (effects on plants, animals and humans) and also an energy-social dimension (energy consumption and loss of night sky). The severity of light pollution depends on the amount and purpose of lighting, lighting technology used, etc. as anthropogenic factors and cloudiness, precipitation, smoke and dust, etc., as atmospheric parameters. Continuous measurements of sky brightness during eight months showed that the standard value of night sky brightness in a city of Zagreb is around 17 mag with the maximum value of 18 mag in clear sky conditions. Influence of cloudiness on the amount of light pollution on the ground is significant (up to 3 mag) compared to clear sky conditions without the Moon.
