Abstract
Pariški sporazum je globalni sporazum o klimatskim promjenama koji je 12. prosinca 2015. postignut u Parizu. Cilj sporazuma je ograničiti globalno zatopljenje na razini manjoj od 2 °C. Glavna ideja sporazuma je smanjenje udjela fosilnih goriva u ukupnom energetskom miksu te njihova zamjena s obnovljivim izvorima energije. Pariškim sporazumom je tako određen jasan smjer za ulaganja u inovacije s niskim udjelom ugljika. Europska unija je donijela četvrti energetski paket upravo zato da bude predvodnica smanjenja emisija ugljikova dioksida za najmanje 40% do 2030. godine. Kako bi to ostvarila zauzima lidersku poziciju, predlaže povećanje energetske učinkovitosti te nastoji pružiti ravnopravna rješenja za sve sudionike na energetskom tržištu.
Abstract (english)
The Paris Agreement is a global climate change agreement reached on the 12th December 2015 in Paris. The goal of the agreement is to limit global warming to a level below 2°C. The main idea is to reduce the share of fossil fuels in the total energy mix and replace it with renewable energy sources. The Paris climate accord has thus set a clear path for investment in low-carbon innovations. The European Union has brought the 4th energy package to be the leader in reducing carbon emissions by at least 40% by 2030. In order to accomplish this, the European Union takes the lead position, providing an increase of energy efficiency and strives to provide equal solutions for all energy market participants.
