Abstract
Predmet istraživanja ovog diplomskog rada bio je odrediti kapacitet sorpcije potencijalno toksičnih metala (bakra, cinka i kadmija) na eutrično smeđe tlo iz okolice vodocrpilišta Velika Gorica. Ciljevi rada bili su: utvrditi sorpcijski kapacitet pojedinog horizonta tla, te izraditi sorpcijske izoterme za Cu, Zn i Cd na porušenim uzorcima u laboratoriju u svrhu otkrivanja potencijalnog utjecaja onečišćivala na podzemnu vodu. Eksperiment sorpcije na porušenim uzorcima izrađen je koristeći multiotopinu modre galice (CuSO4*5H2O), cinkovog sulfata (ZnSO4) i kadmijeva klorida (CdCl2) u različitim koncentracijama. Kreirane su izoterme za sve horizonte tla, sa koeficijentima determinacije za Cu iznad 0,99 dok su kod Zn i Cd koeficijenti manji. Najveći koeficijent distribucije (Kf) za Cu je određen u najplićem horizontu A i iznosi 58,97 l/g. Kod Zn najveći koeficijent distribucije određen je u najdubljem horizontu 3C i iznosi 281 l/g dok je kod Cd najveći koeficijent distribucije određen u najplićem horizontu A i iznosi 195 l/g.
Abstract (english)
The subject of this research is to determine the sorption capacity of potentially toxic metals (copper, zinc and cadmium) into the eutric brown soil in the vicinity of the Velika Gorica waterwell. The objectives of the study are to determine the sorption capacity of each soil horizon, and create sorption isotherms of Cu, Zn and Cd on bulk samples in the laboratory for the purpose of detecting the potential impact of pollution on groundwater. The sorption experiment on bulk samples was made using the multisolution of blue vitriol (CuSO4*5H2O), zinc sulfate (ZnSO4) and cadmium chloride (CdCl2) in various concentrations. The ishoterms for all horizons were made with coefficients of determination for Cu above 0,99 while values for Zn and Cd are slightly lower. The largest distribution coefficient (Kf) for Cu is defined in the narrowest A horizon, with the amount of 58,97 l/g. The largest distribution coefficient for Zn is determined in the deepest horizon, 3C, with the amount of 281 l/g. The largest distribution coefficient for Cd is determined in the narrowest A horizon, with amount of 195 l/g.
