Abstract
Problem globalnog zatopljenja davno je uočen. Veliki napori i istraživanja klimatskih promjena doveli su do spoznaje da su staklenički plinovi ispušteni u atmosferu glavni krivac klimatskih promjena. Kao jedan od načina rješavanja tog problema u Europskoj uniji, u okviru Kyoto protokola, osnovan je Sustav trgovine emisijskim dozvolama Europske unije. Navedeni sustav trgovine emisijskim dozvolama se uglavnom uspješno primjenjuje već više od 10 godina, a zbog sve veće učinkovitosti provedbe ciljeva, njegova primjena nastavit će se u budućnosti. Hrvatska se priključila navedenom sustavu trgovanja emisijskim dozvolama pola godine prije pristupanja Europskoj uniji. Zbog dobrih rezultata smanjenja emisija trgovanjem, diljem svijeta svake se godine osnivaju novi sustavi trgovanja emisijskim dozvolama. Njihovim povezivanjem globalna trgovina emisijskim dozvolama mogla bi postati jedna od najvećih trgovina svijeta.
Abstract (english)
The problem of global warming has been observed for a long time. Significant scientific efforts and research have led to cognition that greenhouse gases, which are released into the atmosphere, are one of the main drivers of the global climate change. As one of the ways to solve the problem, European Union Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) was established. The system has been successfully applied for more than 10 years now, and due to the increasing efficiency of its implementation, it will continue to exist in the future. Croatia joined EU ETS six months prior to joining the European Union. Due to the good results of reduced emissions by trading, new ETS are being established in the world every year. Connecting all of them, global emission trading could become one of the world's largest dealership.
