Abstract
Istraživanje i proizvodnja ugljikovodika na području Egipta počela je još 1886. godine te iako ima dugu povijest i dalje ima mnogo neistraženih područja. U području Zapadne pustinje fokus istraživanja ugljikovodika se mijenja od dokazanih ležišta kredne starosti na dublje zalježuća ležišta jurske starosti. Zadatak ovog diplomskog rada je interpretirati seizmičke i bušotinske podatke te konstruirati strukturne karte u svrhu izdvajanja potencijalne zamke za ugljikovodike na području seizmičkog volumena East Yidma koncesije, koji se nalazi unutar Alamein bazena u Zapadnoj pustinji u Egiptu. U radu je korišten računalni program Petrel E&P Software Platform 2015.
Abstract (english)
Exploration and production of hydrocarbons in Egypt began in 1886. and although it has a long history, there are still many unexplored areas. In the Western Desert area, the focus of hydrocarbons exploration is shifting from proven Cretaceous reservoirs to deeper lying Jurassic beds. The task of this Master thesis is to interpret seismic and well data and construct structural maps for the purpose of identifying potential traps for hydrocarbons in seismic volume of the East Yidma concession, located within the Alamein basin in the Western Desert in Egypt. The work is carried out using computer software Petrel E&P Software Platform 2015.
