Abstract
Zadatak ovog diplomskog rada bio je bazensko modeliranje dijela Alamein bazena u Egiptu, omeđenog granicama koncesijskog bloka “East Yidma”. Kao glavni alati prilikom izrade modela podzemlja korišten je računalni program Schlumberger PetroMod. Cilj je bio da se na temelju interpretiranih seizmičkih i bušotinskih podataka definiraju intervali matičnih, izolatorskih i ležišnih stijena te da se kao krajnji rezultat dobiju podatci o zrelosti matičnih stijena uz potencijalne prospekte gdje je moglo doći do nakupljanja ugljikovodika. Kalibracijom prema podatcima iz bušotina (vitrinitna refleksija, temperatura, porni tlak i efektivna poroznost) načinjena je kalibracija modela kako bi se što bolje opisali uvjeti u podzemlju. Kao rezultat modeliranja dobiveni su podatci o zrelosti i faktoru pretvorbe matičnih stijena te potencijalna ležišta ugljikovodika na području istraživanja. Model može poslužiti kao preliminarni, a uz kvalitetnije ulazne podatke mogao bi u budućnosti ukazati na područja koja bi se detaljnije istraživala.
Abstract (english)
The task of this Master's thesis was basin modeling of „East Yidma“ concession block area in Alamein basin (Egypt). For that purpose software program Schlumberger Petromod was used. The aim was to define source rocks, seals and reservoir rocks based on available seismic and well data and as a result, obtain data on the maturity of the source rocks along with potential prospects where hydrocarbon accumulation could occur. Calibration using well data (vitrinite reflection, temperature, pressure and effective porosity) was done in attempt to approximate the underground conditions. Modeling enabled obtaining the data regarding maturity and transformation factor of source rocks and petroleum saturation. The developed model can be seen as a preliminary and with better input data could point to areas where future exploration should be focused.
