Abstract
U današnje doba, kada su cijene goriva sve veće i veće, a zalihe ograničene i postupno se smanjuju, raste i potreba za pronalaskom te razvojem drugačijih izvora goriva. Veliki značaj tu dobiva biodizel. Biodizel se dobiva iz raznih ulja i masnoća koje su produkti biljaka, kao što su uljana repica, soja ili suncokret te od korištenih, otpadnih ulja iz ugostiteljskih objekata. Osim što nam proizvodnja biodizela omogućuje uštedu u pogledu neovisnosti o običnom dizelu, ona nam omogućuje i očuvanje okoliša zbog smanjene emisije ugljikova dioksida. Biodizel je uz osnovno znanje moguće proizvoditi i u vlastitom domu koristeći jednostavnu opremu ili pak složenije, gotove uređaje. Dok je u svijetu proizvodnja biodizela u punom jeku, u Republici Hrvatskoj, nažalost, značajnija proizvodnja nije zaživjela zahvaljujući kompliciranosti našeg sustava i nerazvijenosti tržišta. Međutim, naša džţava ima velike potencijale za ozbiljnu proizvodnju što se tiče velikih površina i klime pogodne za uzgoj raznih kultura upotrebljivih u tu svrhu. Poticanjem značajnije proizvodnje biodizela moguće je dodatno ojačati našu poljoprivredu i smanjiti površine neobrađene zemlje te samim time postići konkurentnost na europskom tržištu.
Abstract (english)
Nowadays, when the prices of fuels are bigger and bigger and ours upplies are limited and daily become gradually reduced, here comes the need of finding and developing different kind of fuel sources. Large importance here gets biodiesel, which is produced of every kind of oil and fats which are product of plants like rapeseed, soybean and sunflower or used oil from restaurants. Except saving money because the independence of regular diesel, biodiesel production allows saving environment because of reduced emission of carbon diokside. Using primary knowledge of chemistry it is possible to produce biodiesel at home with simple equipment or using special devices. While world production of biodiesel rises enormously, it is not possible in Croatia because of complication in law and undeveloped market. Despite that, our country has big potential for serious production because of large surfaces and climate which are convenient for cultivation many cultures used in that purpose. Encouraging biodiesel production it is possible to strenghten our agroculture and reduce uncultivated surfaces, even to become more comptetitive in European market.
